摘要：Motivated by some recent works, we propose the following general construction for q-ary constacyclic codes over a finite field Fq: first we classify the cyclotomic cosets according to their sizes  (that is, two cosets are in the same class if and only if they have the same size), and then we take the defining set as the union of the first half of cosets in each class  (we will use the ceiling function and the floor function respectively to achieve "the first half"). We will present some general constructions in the case when there are exactly two kinds of cyclotomic cosets.

摘要：Based on the general constructions in the first talk, we will present several infinite and explicit families of q-ary constacyclic codes over a finite field Fq with length n, dimension around n/2, and minimum distance at least cn/log_q(n) for some positive constant c. They contain many constacyclic codes with optimal, or almost-optimal, or best-known parameters.

个人简介：沙敏，华南师范大学副教授，曾获得澳大利亚研究理事会的Discovery Early Career Researcher Award。主要研究领域为数论及其应用，部分成果发表在Trans Amer Math Soc, Math Comp, Int Math Res Notices, Math Zeit, Forum Math, J Comb Theory B等知名期刊。
