报告摘要：Let C(1,e,s) denote the p-ary cyclic code with three zeros. In this talk, we present six classes of optimal p-ary cyclic codes C(1,e,s) by using the quadratic and quartic characters on finite fields. In addition, we propose a class of optimal quinary cyclic codes by determining the solutions of equations over finite fields.

专家简介： 查正邦，新疆大学数学与系统科学学院教授，新疆维吾尔自治区“天池英才”计划创新领军人才。2008年博士毕业于湖南大学应用数学专业，2012年至2014年在中科院信息工程研究所从事博士后研究工作。主要研究领域为密码函数、代数编码，在IEEE Transactions on Information Theory,  Journal of Algebra，Finite Fields and Their Applications, Designs Codes and Cryptography, 中国科学 (数学)等杂志发表学术论文四十余篇，先后主持4项国家自然科学基金项目，曾获“河南省学术技术带头人”称号。
