报告题目:Algebraic properties of 3D topological field theories

摘要:In this talk, we introduce topological (quantum) field theories from an algebraic point of view. We will discuss the categorical constructions of TFTs and the algebraic properties of them, which are mainly organized by modular fusion categories (MFCs). We will see various types of arithmetic features of MFCs, such as the congruence property and the Galois symmetry, and see how they help us in the study of MFCs and TFTs. Finally, when time permits, we will talk about a new graphical calculus for tensor categories.

王亦龙,北京雁栖湖应用数学研究院助理研究员,2018年俄亥俄州立大学数学专业博士,路易斯安那州立大学博士后,2021年加入北京雁栖湖应用数学研究院。主要研究方向为量子代数与量子拓扑,具体课题包括模张量范畴及其对应的拓扑量子场论的代数与数论性质,主持国家自然科学基金青年项目一项,在Comm. Math. Phys.,Adv. Math等杂志发表论文10余篇。
