Abstract: We classify positive radial entire solutions of a class of quasilinear elliptic equation including the usual Laplace, m-Laplace, and k-Hessian operators in the space of radial functions. The intersection properties of positive entire solutions were studied via PDE arguments. We also present a global bifurcation diagram of positive radial solutions of the Dirichlet problem with polynomial nonlinearity. This is based on a joint work with Z.M.Guo.
报告人简介:周风,华东师范大学数学系和偏微分方程中心教授,博士生导师,上海市数学会常务理事、秘书长,中国数学会常务理事,曾连续两届担任华东师范大学数学系主任。主要研究兴趣为非线性偏微分方程,研究成果发表在Comm. Pure Appl. Math., J. Differential Equation,Calc.Var.等国际顶尖杂志上。
